MARGAO: History sheeter Anwar Sheikh was finally killed in a brutal attack in Haveri, Karnataka.
Since yesterday, videos of Tiger’s murdered using an axe have gone viral on social media.
Police have arrested Imran Chowdhury over charges of murdering Sheikh.
The Savanur Police said that the prima facie reason seems to be hafta collection issue.
Police says that there was an old rivalry between Imran Chaudhary and Anwar Shaikh.

About 28 rape, murder, extortion, and threats cases are registered at various police stations in Goa against Anwar Sheikh.
Besides this, there was an externment proceedings also pending with South Goa Collector.
Tiger, a resident of Margao, was a notorious goon and had become a thorn in the flesh for the law enforcing agencies.
In February, Anwar was shot at and assaulted by several persons near the Ambaji junction, Fatorda.
After the assault, Shaikh lay on the road severely injured before being shifted to the Hospicio Hospital, Margao, where he was referred to Goa Medical College (GMC).
After recovery, he had promised a crime-free life. He has also complained about the threat to his life.
