PANAJI: The Raj Bhavan Goa will host “At Home Reception” on the campus on the occasion of Independence Day in the evening on August 15, 2021 like every year. This occasion allows the Governor to meet and interact with important people of Goa and exchange greetings.
This year due to the prevailing Covid situation in the country and the need to take precautionary measures, such as social distancing, avoiding of large gatherings and protecting vulnerable groups, Raj Bhavan, Goa has decided to scale down the evening get–together to a small number of guests of around 50 officials in the Durbar Hall. Consequently, Raj Bhavan, Goa regrets that it will not be possible to invite all the people who usually attended ‘Át Home Reception’. Raj Bhavan looks forward to returning normalcy and hosting the next function in the usual grand manner, as informed by the Department of Information and Publicity.
