๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ป๐ท๐ถ๐บ: The Department of Information Technology, Electronics, and Communications (DITE&C), Government of Goa is hosting the โTech Media Startup Expo 2024โ, a five-day event scheduled to take place from November 20 to 24, 2024, at Film Bazaar, IFFI, Goa. Hosted during the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) this expo will bring together leaders in creativity, technology, and innovation, highlighting Indiaโs role in the TechMedia sector.
Following its successful debut in 2023, the Tech Media Startup Expo returns this year with an expanded platform to align with Goaโs goal of becoming the โCreative Capital of Indiaโ. In collaboration with IFFI, Startup India, National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG), India Blockchain Alliance (IBA), Producers Guild of India (PGI), and other prominent partners, the event will create a unique synergy between the cinema of today and emerging technologies.
The five-day expo will feature ten startup exhibitors, including Goan, national, and international startups at the forefront of tech media innovation. Attendees will also be engaged in panel discussions on how GenAI is shaping filmmaking, scriptwriting, and the future of news and how a womanโs perspective is redefining media along with demo presentations and fireside chats around the themes of “Mind of the Machine”, “Her Story, Her Screen” and “Depths of Perception”, all designed to impart knowledge about the latest technologies and facilitate networking with industry pioneers in the field. A highlight of the event will be a captivating spoken poetry performance titled “Stories Unbound,” which will emphasize the evolution of storytelling through technology. By focusing on sectors such as streaming services, content creation tools, virtual and augmented reality, animation, gaming, advertising technology etc. the event will offer attendees a comprehensive view of how emerging technologies are reshaping the media world.
The Tech Media Startup Expo 2024 will provide an opportunity for startups to showcase their innovations, connect with key industry stakeholders, and engage with top-tier investors and media professionals.
