CANACONA: While days are hotening up amidst the beginning of winter season, 4 mm of unseasonal and unexpected rains gave a huge relief bringing down the soaring afternoon temperature on Monday.
Rains have lashed certain parts of Canacona taking many off guard particularly at the commercial hub of Chaudi, where including two-wheelers riders and marketers ran to seek protection from the sudden spurt of rainfall. While the rains continued for an hour in Colomb-Patnem,-Rajbag regions, it lashed between 30-50 minutes in Palolem, Nagorcem, Chaudi, Ponsulem, Sheller and Mastmoll areas of municipal areas, while Shristhal, Sadolxem, Galgibaga, Ordhofond too were amongst the few other places pounded with unexpected rains at afternoon time.
