MARGAO: The first chargesheet in the investment scam case against Myron Rodrigues and his wife Deepali Parab has been submitted by the Goa Police’s Economic Offences Cell (EOC).
Notably, the husband-wife team is accused of defrauding multiple investors out of Rs 1.19 crore under the guise of increased returns.

The red corner Soon, a notice will be sent to law enforcement agencies around the world asking them to find and temporarily detain Myron while they await his extradition, surrender, or other legal action.
As you may remember, the EOC scheduled Myron and Deepali for fraudulently persuading investors to put money into the stock market and other financial instruments with the promise of profits of roughly 25–45 percent on all investments throughout the short term.
A Blue Corner notice had previously been issued by the EOC against Myron and had obstructed a villa, his apartment, three apartments owned by Sunita Rodrigues, and Myron’s ex-wife and had frozen the bank account that contained Rs 1.94 lakh in total.
Furthermore, a bank account totaling Rs 4.13 lakh, two apartments, and fixed deposits totaling Rs 35.25 lakh have all been frozen.
Along with five other defendants, Myron, Sunita, and Deepali are the subject of another case in Goa that the EOC is looking into.
On December 7, 2024, Sunita was taken into custody by the Crime Branch and was After 20 days in detention, they were released on conditional bail. Application for anticipatory bail of Idyllic Goan Gateways’ five directors is still waiting before the Sessions and Principal District Judge, Margao.
