PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has informed that around one lakh people from Goa are remaining to be vaccinated with the first dose while stating that 80 percent of states population had been admistered with first dose.

He further said that his government has written to the union health ministry requesting to reduce the gap between the COVID-19 vaccines from the current 84 to 30 days for both the teaching and non-teaching staff.

Meanwhile, CM Sawant said the education department has been asked to conduct a study as to when students can be physically called to schools.
