Panaji: Goa received 113 mutation applications through its online portal over the past two years, Revenue Minister Atanasio Monserrate told the Assembly.
North Goa accounted for 72 applications, while South Goa recorded 41.
Monserrate detailed the prescribed processing timeline: immediate acknowledgment on submission, seven working days for preliminary scrutiny, a 15-day public notice period, and disposal within 30 days if there are no objections. In cases where objections are raised, hearings and decisions are completed within 90 days from the end of the notice period, with final orders issued the same day.
The minister said there are no pending cases beyond 90 days in North Goa. However, 10 applications in South Goa have crossed the deadline. These delays, he explained, stem from applicants failing to upload required documents, pay mutation fees, or respond to scrutiny queries.
