ALDONA: A bizarre late-night incident near the village playground behind a girls’ school in Aldona has left residents alarmed and uneasy. According to locals, a woman was seen in the middle of the ground surrounded by lit candles, bones, teeth, eggshells, and other mysterious objects while performing strange actions.
Startled by the sight, a nearby resident alerted Ward Members Pranesh Naik and Yogesh Gadekar, who, along with a few others, rushed to the spot and confronted the woman. Though she initially claimed she was doing nothing wrong, she quickly began collecting the items and attempted to leave.
Finding her behavior suspicious, the group followed her to her nearby flat to identify her residence and subsequently informed the police. Soon after, the local police along with the Pink Force arrived at the scene and took the woman to the station for further questioning.
The unusual episode has caused fear and speculation among villagers, many of whom suspect that the act might be linked to witchcraft or occult practices. Residents have urged authorities to investigate the motive behind the ritual and ensure the safety of the community.
