VASCO: As many as 13 cases were booked in Vasco on drunken driving during a joint surprise check carried out by Vasco traffic and Airport Traffic cell on Saturday evenings.
The surprise checks by the traffic department were led by Police Inspector Rahul Dhamshekar who is holding charges of both the Traffic cells.
“We conducted a drive against drunken driving at Dabolim Airport, resulting in 13 individuals being booked for the offence. The operation aimed to enhance road safety and reduce traffic violations. The police department stresses the need for adherence to traffic laws and warns against the dangers of driving under the influence. This drive reflects our commitment to maintaining a secure environment for everyone in our police cell jurisdiction” said PI Damshekar.
