Another nearby residential colony was also reportedly targeted, with thieves fleeing with some belongings.
According to the minister, the recent incidents have raised concerns over residential security in the area. During the discussion, emphasis was laid on strengthening police patrolling, installing CCTV cameras at key and vulnerable locations, and ensuring strict verification of tenants in residential complexes.
Police officials briefed the minister on the steps taken so far and the progress of the investigations. The minister stated that investigations in all the reported cases are currently underway and assured that necessary measures would be implemented to prevent recurrence of such incidents.
He also stressed the need for coordination between residents and law enforcement agencies to improve vigilance and enhance overall security in residential areas.
