Panaji: Sixteen officers of the Goa Civil Service have been promoted from the Junior Administrative Grade to the Selection Grade (Group ‘A’ Gazetted).
The promotions, approved by the Governor of Goa, were based on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee and the Goa Public Service Commission, conveyed through its letter dated August 18, 2025. The order takes effect from July 14, 2025, placing the officers in Level 13 of the Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016.
Those promoted include Kum. Biju R. Naik, Surendra F. Naik, Johnson B. Fernandes, Ajit Panchwadkar, Agnelo A. Fernandes, Dasharath M. Redkar, Narayan Gad, Devidas S. Gaonkar, Florina S. Colaco, Siddhi T. Halarnkar, Dr. Snehal P. Naik Goltekar, Vinayak P. Volvoikar, Meghana V. Shetgaonkar, Darshana S. Narulkar, Ashutosh R. Apte, and Parag Nagarcenkar.
The officers will continue to serve in their present postings until further orders. They have also been asked to exercise their option for fixation of pay in the promotional grade within one month, as per F.R. 22(I)(a)(1). Once exercised, the option will be treated as final.
