Goemkarponn DeskPANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has infomred that 17 cases had been registered under the provisions of NDPS Act by Goa Police during the lockdown period from March 23 to July 31, 2020.
CM Sawant also informed that the figures are less in comparison to previous year for the same period.
“There are total 546 cases pending in the Goa Human Rights Commission till date,” he said
In a bid to motivate the Police Officers and staff for outstanding work, CM said that they were awarded cash reward, commendation certificate, DGP insignia, Chief Minister Medal and the President Medal During pandemic of Covid-19.
“Police Personnel were also felicitated as COP of the day for performing excellent work,” he added.
