OLD GOA: The 171st annual solemn Mass, “Ponjekaranchi Romari”, in honor of St Francis Xavier was offered by the Panjimites Welfare Society (PWS) on behalf of the citizens of Panjim.
The Eucharistic celebration was led by Fr Cipriano Da Silva, parish priest of the Immaculate Conception Church, Panjim, along with Fr Patricio Fernandes, Rector of Bom Jesus Basilica, Fr Haston Fernandes, Fr Seby Vaz, Fr Sukhdev Tirkey, and Fr Jacaie Albuquerque.
As part of the observance, PWS also felicitated its senior and female members at the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Old Goa.
