Panaji: The Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) – Goa Chapter hosted the Curtain Raiser and Logo Launch of the upcoming 19th Global Communication Conclave at Terminal Banquets, Caculo Mall, Panaji, on Wednesday.
The conclave, themed “Power of PR: Emerging Waves of Communication,” will explore how public relations and communication continue to shape conversations and connections in today’s fast-changing digital landscape.
The event was attended by top leaders from the PR and communication fraternity, including PRCI Chairman Emeritus and Chief Mentor M B Jayaram, National President Geetha Shankar, YCC President Chinnmayee Praveen, Secretary and Director GC Dr. T. Vinayakumar, PRCI Vice Chairman Waman Prabhu, Goa Chapter Chairman Deepak Narvekar and Secretary Nikhil Wagh.
Speaking at the ceremony, M B Jayaram said the conclave would serve as a global platform for industry leaders, young professionals, and academicians to discuss emerging trends and best practices. “Communication today is being reshaped by technology, digital platforms, and changing audience expectations. This conclave will help chart the way forward for the profession,” he noted.
PRCI National President Geetha Shankar stressed the need to balance innovation and ethics in communication. “Technology has transformed the way we share and consume information. But credibility, responsibility and authenticity must remain at the core of professional practice,” she said.
Goa Chapter Chairman Deepak Narvekar added, “This conclave will create an important platform for meaningful dialogue, learning, and collaboration while recognising excellence in the field.”
The 19th Global Communication Conclave in Goa will bring together communication leaders, corporate professionals, media experts, and young communicators from India and abroad. The event will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, and networking sessions, focusing on the evolving dimensions of PR, corporate communication, media, and digital engagement.
