MAPUSA: Mapusa Police has arrested Rahul Sawant (21) of Madel-Tivim on charges of abusing and threatening a Traffic Police Constable Swapnil Gawas on duty at the flyover site in Karaswada, Mapusa, on December 10.
The traffic police constable was on duty at the site when the accused went there, and allegedly abused and threatened the complainant.
Police registered a case against the suspect on Wednesday.
After investigating the matter, the police nabbed the suspect and arrested him. Police are conducting further investigation.
