MARGAO: A 22-year-old youth from Cavelossim died in a road accident after his scooter rammed into a parked truck-trawler at Cavelossim on September 8.
Police identified the deceased as Lakshya Wadhwa, a native of Gandhi Nagar, Jaipur, presently residing in Cavelossim. According to officials, Wadhwa was travelling from Benaulim towards Cavelossim on an Ntorq scooter when he lost control and crashed into a truck-trawler parked by the roadside. He sustained grievous injuries and was rushed to South Goa District Hospital, Margao, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The body has been preserved at SDH Margao for medico-legal formalities. Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Nikhil Khajnekar of Colva Police Station.
