MARGAO:: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that the government is taking immediate steps to ensure timely treatment and improved healthcare facilities for the people of Goa.
Rane said he held a review meeting with Director of Health Services Dr. Rupa Naik, Medical Superintendent of South Goa District Hospital Dr. Rajendra Borkar, OSD to Health Minister Dr. Rajnanda, and Advisor to Health Minister Frazella De Araujo regarding the shortage of beds at the hospital.
“As an immediate relief, 25 beds were added this morning, and additional manpower will be deployed soon to ensure proper service and patient care. Our priority is to make sure that no patient is left without a bed,” Rane said.
