PANAJI: Panaji Police on Sunday registered an Unnatural Death case (UD No. 96/2025) under Section 194 of the BNSS after receiving a wireless message from GMC Bambolim reporting that an unidentified male, aged around 40 years, had been brought dead by EMRI 108 following a vehicle accident at Odxem, Taleigao. During the enquiry, police established the identity of the deceased as Basu Kadri, age 26, son of Raju Kadri of Camra Bhat, Taleigao. His father informed police that Basu had met with a self-accident while riding his white Activa scooter (GA07AM7871). A separate motor vehicle accident case, Panaji PS MV Accident No. 151/2025, has already been registered. Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Mahesh Naik.
