MAPUSA: Yet another brutal assault case has been reported from Mapusa wherein a Parra-Canca was stabbed in a bar over some misunderstanding.
As per information, a 27-year-old Parra Canca resident Sunil Rathod was stabbed over a misunderstanding in a bar at Mapusa.
According to the victim, he and his friend were sitting in a bar and talking among themselves when a person who was sitting behind them thought that the victim was talking about him.
Furious accused followed the victim to his home and stabbed him with a broken beer bottle & also assaulted his father.
The victim has been injured and admitted to hospital for treatment. Police said that the investigation is on.
