Margao: In a tragic incident, a 28 year old youth Alister Vaz from Agalli Fatorda expired after being injured while playing football.
He was rushed to a private hospital but was declared brought dead..
His body has been preserved at Monte morgue and postmortem will be conducted tomorrow..
Fatorda Police investigating the matter..
It is learnt that the ball or a player kick landed in his groin area but he got up and then collapsed.
Alister had got married just two months ago.
