Bambolim: A 29-year-old man, identified as Mahadev Anand Pawar, resident of Dharbandora, reportedly fell from a height at Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim, on July 24. The incident occurred in Ward No. 110, where he had been admitted for medical treatment.
According to a written memo received from GMC at 2:18 PM, the patient was brought to the casualty ward following the fall and was subsequently shifted back to Ward 110 for further care. The Agacaim Police were immediately informed, and an Unnatural Death case has been registered under UD No. 26/2025, U/s 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
Police conducted an initial inquiry with the deceased’s family members, who stated that Mahadev had been experiencing stomach pain and was admitted to GMC for treatment on July 23.
Further investigation into the circumstances of the fall is ongoing.
