PANAJI: Goa Cyber Police has arrested three members of international trafficking gang including one Kazakhstan national (Chinese Native) running cyber slavery call centers in South East Asian Countries and trafficking Indians there
Among 549 Indians trapped in Cyber slavery call centers were rescued from Myanmar by Indian Government, one was belonged to Goa.
Upon State complaint of PSI Sarvesh Sawant an offence about his trafficking was registered, to the effect that the accused individuals hatched criminal conspiracy by inducing the victim by offering job opportunity in Thailand with monthly remuneration of Rs. 60,000, working as a call centre employee.
The victim was forced to contact potential cyber victims in USA and inducing them to invest in fake trading companies or honey trapping them, thereby committing financial frauds.
Cyber PS FIR vide 08/2025 318(4), 143(2), 3(5), 61(2) BNS r/w 66D IT Act r/w 10, 24 of Emigration Act 1983 was registered and investigation taken up.
A total of 3 persons have been arrested so far –
Adithya Ravichandran 22 years r/o Thiruvalluvar Street, GN Mills Post, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Rupnarayan Gupta 36 yo r/o Flat no. 1203, Vasudev Heights, Mulund, Goregao, Mumbai and Talaniti Nulaxi 22 years, a Kazakhstan national of Chinese origin.
