CURCHOREM: Curchorem Police have initiated an enquiry into the death of 33-year-old Deepak Bondre, a resident of Hodar, Xeldem, who was found hanging at his residence on Wednesday morning.
Police received information at 10:28 am on November 19, 2025 from Pravin Jaiwal, a resident of Curchorem, reporting that Deepak Bondre had allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself using a saree tied to a rafter in his house.
During the enquiry, police visited the scene and conducted an on-spot investigation. Sahil Bondre, the nephew of the deceased, identified the body as that of his uncle, Deepak Bondre.
A scene panchanama and inquest panchanama were conducted, and the body has been preserved at District Hospital, Margao for medico-legal procedures, including autopsy.
Further enquiry is being conducted by PSI Prajyot Bakhale of Curchorem Police Station.
