PANJIM: Union Minister for AYUSH Shripad Naik was the latest addition to COVID19 cases as he tested positive on Wednesday.
“I underwent Covid-19 test today & it has turned out assymptomaically positive. My vitals are within normal limits and I have opted for home isolation,” he said.
He said that those who have came in contact with him in last few days are advised to get tested for themselves and take required precautions.
With three deaths 480 new cases, Goa seems to be heading for the worse during the festival time.
As per the health bulletin there were three deaths – one of 62 years Male from Mangoor Hill- Vasco, 74 years Male from Pirna admitted at ESI COVID Hospital Margao, both with co-morbid conditions expired today. 62 years Female from Baina- Vasco, admitted at Goa Medical College Bambolim with co-morbid conditions expired yesterday.
The confirmed cases are just short of 10,000 at 9924 while active cases are 3194.
Death toll has reached 89 due to COVID 19.
Out of 3575 Samples, 2520 are Negative, 480 are Positive and 575 Reports awaited. At present patients in Isolation wards. 94 and people quarantined at Various Residencies/Hotels are 89.
