A 35-year-old man was found murdered at an isolated location in Sancoale near Meta Strips on Tuesday morning.
According to information from sources, the deceased has been identified as Sanjay Yadav, a resident of Zorint Zuarinagar and a casual worker at a scrapyard.
Policegot information that a dead body was lying buried in construction debris at an isolated location. Verna police immediately rushed to the site and, after primary investigation suspected it to be a case of murder.
Verna police later immediately, based on specific and human intelligence, detained the accused involved in the crime.
The accused has been identified as Kanhayya Lal Yadav, a resident of Zorint. The accused is believed to have confessed to the crime and Verna police are carrying out a further investigation, said the source
