PANAJI: In a major breakthrough for early lung cancer detection, Goa’s health screening program has identified 417 high-risk large nodule masses (LNMs) through advanced AI-assisted scans.
Health Minister Vishwajit Rane announced the milestone as part of the state’s ongoing initiative across 19 sites, aimed at catching potential lung cancer cases in their earliest stages.
Powered by AstraZeneca’s AI technology, the program is setting new benchmarks in proactive healthcare and early intervention.
