PANJIM: Goa today witnessed 432 new covid positive cases. While there 394 recoveries and 9 deaths.
As per DHS bulletin, A 43-year-old woman from Vasco who was not suffering from any other ailment died due to Covid induced pneumonia within 45-minutes of her admission into the hospital.
In all, Covid claimed 9 more lives today taking the mortality count of the state to 477.
Of the 9 deaths 5 were reported at GMC, 3 at ESI and one at a private hospital in North Goa. 3 of the 9 deceased patients have expired within 10 hours of being admitted in the hospital.
Further, 75-year-old man from Raia, 60-year-old woman from Ponda, 65-year-old man from Curchorem, 52-year-old man from Bardez, 74-year-old man from North Goa, 48-year-old woman from Betalbhatim, 70-year-old man from Carambolim, 61-year-old man from Betim-Reis Magos and the 43-year-old woman from Vasco died of Covid
Meanwhile, there 4749 active cases, total deaths 477 and samples tested today 1820
