CANACONA: A 44 years old Patnem resident collapsed at his residence early Sunday morning, and dies, even as family and neighbours shifts the unconscious man to CHC, Canacona.
According to Canacona police doctor on duty at CHC declares Viraj Dhuri, 44 years resident of Kepewada-Patnem, Canacona, brought to unconscious to the hospital by his family members and neighbours.
Police, during their enquiry learnt that the said deceased person got up in this morning and while going to washroom collapsed in the house and the unconscious man was brought to CHC canacona by the wife of deceased and their neighbors, where on duty doctor at CHC declared brought dead.
Police conducted inquest Panchanama and dead body referred at SGDH hospital Margao for PM examination and Police Surgeon conducted autopsy over the dead body and certified the cause of death as “final opinion to cause of death pending report of histopathology examination” dead body handed over to family for final rights. According to sources, the deceased is cremated on Sunday. Further enquiry is conducted by PSI Vishal Velip of Cancona Police Station.
