Panaji: A 48-year-old man identified as Vince Zacharia, a resident of Pune, was declared brought dead at Goa Medical College (GMC) Hospital, Bambolim.
According to the police, an Unnatural Death (UD) case bearing number 65/25 under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) was registered at 6:36 PM on July 23, 2025. Information was received from GMC via memo No. 6945/25 stating that the deceased was brought in by an emergency 108 ambulance from the vicinity of State Bank of India, Panaji.
Medical Legal Case (MLC) No. 25/6756 was initiated upon arrival at GMC. The circumstances surrounding the man’s death remain unclear, and further investigation is currently underway to determine the cause.
