PANJIM: Goa today registered 524 new cases. While there were 400 recoveries and 12 deaths.
Goa death tally today shot up yet again today with 12 more people including a senior ECD official succumbing to the dreaded disease in Goa in the last 24-hours. This takes the death toll of Goa to 440.
Of the 12 deaths 8 were recorded at GMC and 4 at ESI Hospital, Margao. 50-year-old man from Curchorem, 73-year-old man from New Vaddem-Vasco, 55-year-old man from Candola, 57-year-old man from Nerul, 75-year-old woman from Volvoi succumbed to the virus.
Further a 59-year-old man from Alto-Porvorim, 63-year-old woman from Chimbel, 65-year-old man from Hodas, 82-year-old man from Ponda, 50-year-old woman from Goa Velha, 73-year-old man from Ponda, 76-year-old man from Porvorim succumbed to the disease.
