CUNCOLIM: A 55-year-old man was found dead at his residence in Kegdicotto, Cuncolim, late Monday evening. The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Dora, a resident of Cuncolim.
According to police, information was received from his wife, Sangita Dora, stating that her husband was lying unconscious in their home.
Upon visiting the site, police found Dora unresponsive. An emergency 108 ambulance was immediately summoned, but upon arrival, the ambulance staff declared him dead.
During preliminary enquiry, the wife informed police that the deceased was a habitual alcohol consumer and had also been suffering from constipation for the past few days.
Police conducted a scene of unnatural death (UD) panchanama as well as an inquest panchanama.
The body has been preserved at South Goa District Hospital, Margao, for medico-legal formalities.
Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Aditya Sawant of Cuncolim Police Station.
