PANAJI: 615 health workers across the state were vaccinated for COVID-19 today on day 3 of the vaccination drive.
As per DHS, 128 were vaccinated at GMC, 100 at Hospicio Hospital, 80 at Chicalim SDH, 61 at Ponda SDH, 41 at Canacona CHC.
Further 64 were vaccinated at Churchorem CHC, 59 at Cardiac Hospital and 82 at ESI.
The DHS said that the Vaccine is approved by ICMR and Drug Controller of India and is safe, well tested and effective. At present all the vaccination
is for health care workers.
“All HCWs are requested to avail the vaccine and protect themselves from coronavirus disease,” DHS said
