MARGAO: In another major achievement, the South Goa District Police, under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police (South), have successfully recovered 67 lost and stolen mobile phones through the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal.
The recoveries were made as follows:
Vasco PS – 22 | Margao PS – 13 | Colva – 05 | Curchorem – 06 | Ponda – 06 | Quepem – 07 | Verna – 05 | Mormugao – 02 | Sanguem – 01
This coordinated effort between the public, police, and telecom service providers underscores the Goa Police’s focus on leveraging technology for citizen-centric services.
Citizens are encouraged to report lost or stolen phones via the CEIR portal (www.ceir.gov.in) or by visiting their nearest police station.
