PANAJI: According to Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, more than half of Goa’s population, or 8.68 lakh Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts (ABHAs), were formed as a result of the most recent census.
“Goa is setting benchmarks in digital healthcare innovation with the creation of over 8.68 lakh Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts (ABHAs),” Rane stated.
According to him, the breakthrough enables ABHA holders to securely keep, view, and share their medical records online and provides them with easy access to healthcare services.
One of the main components of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), which aims to increase the integration of the nation’s health infrastructure, is ABHA, a 14-digit unique number that allows users to access and share their health records online.
It allows the user to access their medical records from various healthcare providers they may have used, in addition to securely preserving them digitally.
Additionally, consumers can communicate with verified healthcare providers through the ABHA. The ABHA app can be downloaded from Google Play to construct it.
“This milestone reflects our commitment to delivering efficient, patient-centric healthcare solutions, making Goa a leader in digital health transformation,” Rane stated.
