CANACONA: Alongwith two Governemnt High Schools, Eight(8) schools at the two Centres of Canacona taluka shined with cent percent results with 535 students passes out 559 ansered SSC examinations-2025 at Canacona Poinguinim Centres.
Vibhuti Videsh Bhaireli 95.16% from Nirakar Vidyalaya, Maxem have topped in Canacona taluka, while Shri Mallikarjun Vidyalaya, Char-Rasta Swatej Vinayak Bhagat with 92.50% of marks have ranked second.
A total of 559 candidates have appeared in the examinations out of which 535 have passed out with flying colours even as all the 3 students belonging to SC Category has passed-out,, while 196 ST category students out of 204 ansered are successful, and 110 OBC students out he 117 appeared have cleared the SSC examinations held in March’2025
Shri Damodar Vidyalaya, Loliem (35/35)-100%, Katiyani Baneshwar, Kindlem (35/35)-100%, Shri Shradhanand Vidyalaya, Poinguinim (28/28)-100%, St. Anne’s Institute, Agonda (44/44)-100%,GHS Gaondongrim (18/18)-100%, GHS –Gawal(Khola) (27/27) 100%, Balram Residential High School, Amone(54/54)-100% and GES’s Gururkul H/s, Saleri(Khola) (28/28)-100% are the schools receiving hundred percent results.
GHS-Agonda with 3 failures out of 13 appeared has the least of 76.92%, while Mallikarjun – 35 (33) – 94.29%, Nirakar- 41(40) – 97.56%, St. Theresa 53 (48) – 90.57%, St. Sebastian 22(21) – 95.45%, St.Anthonys -36(35) – 97.22%, GHS Sadolxem – 30(26) – 96.67%, SNES Tudal – 34(33) – 97.06%, GHS Shristhal – 11(10) – 90.91% and Balram A Day Care- 20(19) -95% that missed 100% success with a mere one or two ATKT’s. GHS Khotigao- 22(18) with a percentage of 81.82% is the second school in Canacona taluka to miss the 90% & above bracket after GHS-Agonda (76.92%).
At Shri Shradhanand Vidyalaya, Poinguinim 7-students passed in Distinction, 15 in First Class, 5 in second class and 1 in pass class., Sanyukta Rama Pagui topped the school with 91.17%, followed by Ridhi Ashitosh Kamat (86%) and Tejashree Pramod Velip (84.67%).
At Shri Katyayani Baneshwar Vidyalaya, Kindlem 17 passed with Distinction, 13 passed with first class and 5 passed with second class , Saraswati Sanjay Behra topping the school with 91.33%, followed by Parvati Krishnan Kutty Nair (90.33%) and Shlok Dhiraj Kankonkar (89%).
At St. Anne’s Institute, Agonda, Master Alister Fernandes topped the school with 91.33% followed by Atharv Bandekar (86.83%) and Joyston Tavares (82.66%), amidst 14 Distinctions, 24 First Class and 06 Second Class pass-outs.
Shri Balram Residential High School.AmoneVansh Padkar topped school with 82% followed by Sambhavi Gaonkar (81.8%) and Vedh Naik (78.8%). Out of all the 54 passed students, 8 have passed with Distinction, 18 with First Class, 27with Second class and 1 in passed class
