PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant today said that the Directorate of Public Grievances has been efficiently addressing citizen complaints, with nearly 90 per cent of grievances resolved within two days.
The remaining 10 per cent, he added, are disposed of within four to five days.
Dr. Sawant said the prompt redressal system reflects the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability.
“Most grievances are resolved within two days. Only a small percentage take longer due to inter-departmental coordination issues,” he noted.
The Chief Minister was speaking after inaugurating the new office of the Directorate of Public Grievances at Patto, Panaji.
As part of the event, the department also launched its new website to make grievance filing and tracking more accessible to the public.
He said the upgraded office and digital platform will further streamline the complaint-handling process and ensure faster communication between departments, reinforcing citizen trust in the government’s service delivery system.
