CANACONA: A 32 year old Nagpur resident drowned while swimming in the sea at Patnem.
According to Canacona police, Pranay Thool, 32, unmarried resident of Nagpur (Maharashtra) alongwith his family members had come to Patnem beach for vocation on Thursday. Thool left for swimming in Seawater at morning time and got drowned in the seawater, informed his brighter-in-law.
He was however rushed to the CHC by 108 ambulance as a case of drowning at Patnem beach where the doctor on duty informed Pranay Thooli is brought dead.
Canacona police conducted an Inquest panchaname and the dead body of the deceased preserved at South Goa District Hospital Morgue at Margao for medico legal formalities.
A UD is registered u/s 194 BNSS 2023, and further enquiry is with PSI Vishal Velip of Canacona PS.
