PANAJI: The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) Goa Chapter marked a significant milestone with the installation of its Core Working Committee for the 2025–26 term. The ceremony, held at the Terminal Banquet Hall in Caculo Mall, Panaji, welcomed Shri Mauvin Godinho, Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Panchayats, and Transport, Government of Goa, as the Chief Guest.
In his keynote address, Shri Godinho praised ISHRAE’s vibrant energy and commitment to sustainable engineering, particularly under this year’s central theme: C.L.I.M.A.T.E. – Cooling Lives with Innovative Methods and Advanced Technology Efficiency. He emphasized the vital role that HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) professionals play in addressing the needs of a warming planet, building resilient infrastructure, and shaping a sustainable future. Highlighting the importance of empowering women and youth, he noted that real transformation begins when ideas are turned into tangible outcomes.
