BJP government has failed the Mhapsekars and Goans completely, and hence Salman and his team were actively working to engage the Municipality tackled many such problems.
“My sole intention to join the party was to get a better platform to work for the benefit of Mapusa and to tackle the problems pending in Mapusa for years. I have seen so many issues plaguing Mapusa, and literally, I feel frustrated,” said Salman Khan.
“Mapusa has to be developed by keeping the next 100 years in mind! Why are we still suffering from power cuts? Why are our Govt Schools in bad condition? We must ask that if Arvind Kejriwal can do this in Delhi, why can’t it be done in Goa? I’m here to take the Kejriwal model of governance ahead for Mapusa and the people of Goa,” added Khan
“Salman Khan has highlighted various issues from Mapusa like the Mapusa Tar River and has fought for the restoration of this river which has been in a pathetic condition for 20 years, his work during the second wave providing food package service to the relatives of Covid patients outside Asilo district hospital Mapusa is well known in the city,” said Rahul Mhambre while addressing the press conference.
