PANAJI: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa president Amit Palekar has called for urgent protection for cash-for-jobs scam accused Pooja Naik, stating that safeguarding her is essential to uncovering the “full truth” behind the multi-crore recruitment racket.
Palekar urged the authorities to immediately record Naik’s statement before a Magistrate, arguing that doing so would ensure her testimony is legally secured and free from influence. He also demanded a judicial inquiry into the scam and stressed the need for the prompt appointment of judges to oversee the investigation.
“The entire truth must come out, and for that Pooja Naik must be protected,” Palekar said, adding that the scandal has raised serious questions about systemic corruption in government recruitment.
