PANAJI: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa President Amit Palekar has demanded answers from the BJP government following sensational allegations made by accused Pooja Naik in the alleged ₹17 crore cash-for-jobs scam.
Palekar questioned the silence of the state government after Naik claimed that a Cabinet minister, an IAS officer, and a Public Works Department (PWD) engineer were involved in the racket that duped over 600 job seekers.
“Who is this minister? Who are the officers involved? Will Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant help her reveal the names?” Palekar asked, urging immediate investigation and accountability from those in power.
The AAP leader said the scam exposed the BJP’s “systemic corruption” and demanded justice for the youth allegedly cheated with false promises of government employment.
