PANAJI: AAP MLA Capt. Venzy along with fishermen from Colva, met CM to reconsider the demand of renewal fees towards fish drying platforms at fisheries Colva. CM assures to reduce the rate from 3000Rs to 1000Rs.
“Even though I received an assurance during the 2022 monsoon session, the file got rejected in finance. Finally, CM gives approval for reducing fees,” said Capt Venzy.
Meanwhile, Venzy also went with a farmer’s delegation to CM to revoke the order asking for a refund of Rs 6000 from farmers who received payments under the PM Kisan Scheme.
CM agrees to take up the matter with the Central Ministry.
All over Goa 3000 farmers have received letters asking to pay back 6000Rs, I urge all the farmers NOT to refund the money until CM gets a reply from the centre.
