PANAJI: AAP’s Panaji team donated N95 masks to the city’s frontline warriors today.
Goa Police has seen hundreds of positive cases across the state, and two deaths, including that of DySP Uttam Raut Desai who was SDPO of Panaji. Many personnel have been severely affected, and are still recuperating in the hospital and at home, said AAP leader Valmiki Naik.
He said that also CCP sanitation workers, who are routinely exposed to contaminated waste, have seen about 40 positive cases and 2 deaths.
“My heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased. We owe a debt of gratitude to every one of our frontline workers. Not everyone has a choice to “stay home, stay safe”,” he said.
