PONDA: In a significant political development ahead of the Ponda Assembly by-election, Arvind Kejriwal inducted social worker and Bhandari Samaj leader Geetesh Naik into the Aam Aadmi Party, strengthening the party’s grassroots presence in the constituency.
Naik was formally welcomed into the party in the presence of Goa Prabhari Atishi, State President Valmiki Naik, and other senior leaders. The induction is being seen as a strategic move by AAP to consolidate support in Ponda, particularly among key community groups.
With over 15 years of experience in social work, Geetesh Naik has been actively involved in community initiatives and enjoys considerable local influence. He joined the party along with a large number of supporters, which party leaders believe will significantly enhance AAP’s organisational strength at the grassroots level.
Party leaders expressed confidence that Naik’s entry will energise their campaign efforts and improve outreach in the Ponda Assembly segment, as political activity intensifies in the run-up to the bypoll.
