PANAJI: Goa in-charge of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Atishi, has formally ruled out any alliance with the Congress, confirming that AAP has exited the INDIA alliance.
Atishi criticised Congress for what she described as a lack of responsible leadership at the national level, citing internal factionalism and weak grassroots connect as key reasons for the decision.
“People are disappointed with Congress’s infighting. It’s clear they are not serious about forming a strong alternative,” she said.
She further announced that AAP will contest all 40 assembly constituencies in Goa in the 2027 elections, signalling the party’s intent to make a full-scale electoral push in the state.
