PERNEM: The Aam Aadmi Party unveiled a new office in Pernem. The new office was inaugurated at the hands of AAP vice president Valmiki Naik in the presence of AAP joint secretary Sunil Signapurkar and AAP leader Pundalik Dhargalkar.
While addressing Pernem residents after the inauguration, AAP Valmiki Naik said, ” Pernem is like the head of the state, and therefore it is important to save the culture and people of Pernem. In Pernem, the government has been introducing several developmental projects, although the residents of Pernem have received no benefits from these projects”.
“In Pernem, unemployment is a crucial issue. After introducing the Mopa airport project, the government announced 5000 jobs for Pernem youths. The airport is expected to open within 6-7 months, yet there is no apparent job creation in Pernem. Pernem need a change, and the AAP is the only party which delivers the promises that are made”, Naik said.
AAP leader Pundalik Dhargalkar said, ” There’s a need for a change in Pernem. Kejriwal has made three guarantees so far for the Goans, and these guarantees will benefit common people. Kejriwal had announced monthly unemployment allowance until the one get employed, 5000 rupees monthly allowance to the people dependent on tourism and mining. In addition to the free electricity promised to the Goans, he also announced a free pilgrimage. AAP is the party of the commoners. I urge the Goans to vote for AAP and experience development”.
He further said, “the new office will be open from morning 9 to evening 5. Residents will now easily be able to reach out to the party leadership via this office. People can come to the office anytime if they need help with official work to avail government schemes. People from Pernem constituency can approach the office and do their registration for job guarantee programme, electricity guarantee programme, free pilgrimage programme and other guarantee programmes of AAP that will be declared in the future”.
