New Delhi: The ICC has released its latest T20I rankings, and Indian players continue to set the pace across formats, with Abhishek Sharma and Varun Chakaravarthy holding firm as the world’s top ranked batter and bowler. The update comes after a busy week of international fixtures, including Pakistan’s 2-1 home series win over South Africa that produced several notable climbs in the charts.
Abhishek remains at No. 1 among T20I batters with 925 rating points, a strong lead over England’s Phil Salt, who stays in second place. Tilak Varma retains his third position, giving India two batters inside the top three. Abhishek’s recent run of consistency has strengthened his status as India’s most influential T20I batter.
In the bowling list, Chakaravarthy continues to impress with his range of variations that have troubled batters across conditions. He remains the top ranked T20I bowler with 799 rating points. West Indies’ Akeal Hosein sits in second place, while Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is third.
