MAPUSA: ABVP Goa delegates, along with ABVP Konkan State Secretary Rahul Rajoria, met the Administrator of St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa, to raise serious concerns regarding a recent incident on the college campus.
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Goa delegation strongly condemns the inappropriate activities reportedly held during an Easter celebration at the institution.
Reports indicate the consumption of alcohol, tobacco use, and objectionable performances involving female dancers—all within the college premises.
Such conduct is a gross violation of campus ethics and deeply undermines the sanctity of educational spaces. It is unacceptable that institutions of higher learning be used for events that contradict the values of discipline, morality, and cultural integrity.
We call upon the college administration to conduct an immediate and transparent investigation into the incident and to take strict action against those responsible.
Academic institutions must uphold decorum and must not allow such actions that degrade their dignity.
ABVP Goa reiterates its commitment to safeguarding the moral and cultural environment of educational campuses and ensuring that student spaces remain respectful and value-driven.
