MARGAO: Margao Town Police have launched an investigation after an Activa scooter was reported stolen from an open parking area near the ISKCON Temple.
The complaint, filed by Sanjana Heganna, a resident of Benwaddo, Pajenol, Sanguem, states that the theft occurred on 19 November 2025, between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The scooter, valued at ₹1,10,000, had been parked in an open space when unknown person(s) allegedly stole it.
Police said the stolen two-wheeler is registered in the name of the complainant’s father, Ramchandra Heganna.
Further investigation is underway under ASI Santosh Gaonkar of Margao Town Police Station.
