PANAJI: The District Magistrate, South Goa, Margao has prohibited aerial photography in any form such as by use of drone cameras, flying balloons or any other aviated devices in South Goa District w.e.f October 23,2023 to November 9,2023 in view of the 37th Edition of National Games.
The above order shall not apply to police personnel and other Government Official agencies if using drone purely in connection with their official duties subject to following conditions that the Police Personnel and other Government officials shall be in their service uniform and shall carry their identity cards and authorization cards authorizing them to use drone in connection with their official duties issued by the competent authority. Exemption is applicable in relation to the above said personnel only when they are on official duty and to other agencies/entities that are granted specific NOC/permission by the office subject to compliance of the guidelines and Drones Rules 2021 governing the same.
